SUMMONER CHEATS

PS2

All spells:
Hold R2 and press Circle, Square, Circle, Triangle, Circle, Triangle at the title screen. A message will be spoken to confirm correct code entry. Start a new game to begin with all spells.

Hidden FMV sequence:
Select the "Credits" option from the main menu, then press X while the credits are being displayed.

Fast magic:
Cast a spell, press Triangle to display the pause menu, then select the "Skills" option. Exit out to resume the game with your spell being cast without a delay.

Reduce AP cost of long chains:
Get a ''chain 4'' or higher attack, then quickly press R2, L2 (or L2, R2) to switch to another character and then back to the original character. If done correctly, your chain number will reset to 1 without slowing your attack.

Hint: Defeating the rider:
When you come back to the main land and head towards Lenelle, you will normally run into the rider on the black horse. Purchase three or more Meteor and Inferno spells. Use about three Meteor and one Inferno spell to quickly eliminate the threat of the rider.

Hint: Easy way to get to Lenelle:
This trick will help you get to the town of Lenelle quicker, and get the items and equipment you need. When you start your trek to Lenelle, about half way or more, open your options screen and save the game. When you meet the rider on the way to the town, quickly open up the options screen and select "Load game". This will help keep the rider off of your back until you are ready to defeat him.

Hint: Easy money:
Go to the sewers and defeat Bacites for their tails. Acquire about 30 or more and go visit Merden. He will give you over 1,000 gold pieces for the number of tails.

Glitch: Two summons:
Summon, do the "Fast magic" trick, then summon again. From time to time this will result in two summons during a battle.
