Cheat mode:
At the "Press Start" Screen, press Circle, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right,
Left, Right to unlock the "Bonus Match Up" option at the main menu. This allows
you to play as Itchy and Scratchy, Kodos and Kang, or Burns and Smithers, as well as
choose any arena. Or, win the New Challenger, Defender, and Champion circuits to unlock
options that allows you to play as Itchy and Scratchy, Kodos and Kang, or Burns and
Smithers, as well as an arena select option.
Bonus match up:
At the "Press Start" Screen, press Circle, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right,
Left, Right at the "Press Start" screen, to unlock the "Bonus Match
Up" option at the main menu. The phrase "Bonus Match Up" will appear. This
allows you to play as Itchy and Scratchy, Kodos and Kang, or Burns and Smithers, as well
as choose any arena. Or, win the New Challenger, Defender, and Champion circuits
Bonus ring:
At the "Press Start" Screen, press Circle, R2, R1, Circle, R2, R1.
Big arm mode:
At the "Press Start" Screen or after pausing, press Circle, L1, Circle, R1,
Circle, L2, Circle.
Funny credits:
At the "Press Start" Screen, press Circle, L1, Circle, L1, Circle, R1, Circle,
R1. Then, choose the "Credits" option.
Display game completion date:
At the "Press Start" Screen or after pausing, press Square, Circle, L1, R1.
Play as Bumblebee Man:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, Left, Up,
Left, Down, R1. Or, in the New Challenger Circuit, you will eventually fight Bumblebee
Man. Beat him and save the game to unlock him on the character select screen.
Play as Moe:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, Left, Up,
Left, Down, L1. Or, in the New Challenger Circuit, you will eventually fight Moe. Beat him
and save the match to unlock him on the character select screen.
Play as Professor Frink:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, Left, Up,
Left, Down, R2. Or, in the Defender Circuit, you will eventually fight Professor Frink.
Beat him and save the match to unlock him on the character select screen.
Play as Ned Flanders:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, Left, Up,
Left, Down, L2. Or, in the Defender Circuit, you will eventually fight Ned Flanders. Beat
him and save the match to unlock him on the character select screen.
Unlimited health:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, R1, R1, R1,
Right, Left.
Unlimited energy:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, R1, R1, R1,
Down, Up.
Multi-rope attack:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, R1, R1, R1,
Up, Down.
Mirror matches:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Up, Up, Down, Down,
Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, L2, Circle, R2, Circle, L1, Circle, R1.
Play as Itchy or Scratchy:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, R1, R2,
Circle, R1, R2.
Big Ape arena:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, R2, R1,
Circle, R2, R1.
Big head mode:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, L1, L1 L1,
Up, Down.
Flat mode:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, L1, L1, L1,
Left, Right.
No outlines:
At the "Press Start" screen or after pausing the game press Circle, Right, Up,
Right, Down.
Fighting Waylon Smithers and Mr. Burns:
When fighting Smithers and Mr. Burns, Smithers will keep throwing a three-eyed fish at
you, which makes you slip and fall. Mr. Burns will keep throwing mini nuclear bombs.
Fighting Kang:
He has a club that he keeps hitting you with; a ray gun that he shoots you with, and two
to three very long legs. The best thing to do against him is to build up energy all the
way to the "O" key, jump, then press Circle.
In-game reset:
Press Start to pause the game, then hold Start + Select.
