Atari has released the new v1.52 patch for Shiny's action game, Enter the Matrix.

Rockstar Games has released the v1.1 patches for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This unsupported release comes in English and German editions, and it addresses a polygon corruption on certain video card and PC combinations, so if you don't experience the problem you DO NOT NEED NOT apply this patch. Developed by Black Ops, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is an upcoming first-person action game which will allow players to become the Terminator Series signature icon, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the original Terminator. The game will be published by Atari on PS2, Xbox, GameCube and GBA in Fall 2004. Go here for the movie.

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) announced plans to expand its in-home entertainment to outside the home with a new, all-in-one portable entertainment platform, "PSP(TM)." Scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2004, the company's goal is to extend the reach of PlayStation to a broader audience, allowing consumers to enjoy gaming and other entertainment content anytime, anywhere. Atari has just confirmed the development of Unreal Tournament 2004. The game, expected to ship this fall, includes all of the content from Unreal Tournament 2003 plus the two free bonus packs released by Digital Extremes and Epic Games and is again being co-developed by Digital Extremes and Epic. In addition to other recently announced improvements (support for DVD R/RW,etc.), Sony has now announced it is going to sell its PlayStation 2 with a Network Adapter for online gameplay. Old Ps2's will be cut in price to $179, the new improved ones will retail at the normal price of $199. An exact start date for the promotion was not announced. Read more here. In addition Microsoft has announced the Xbox price will also be lowered to $179.
